- Justin Clark Review added: 2018.01.03★ ★ ★ ★ ★If you love the romance of all things nautical, Nelson, the impending threat of foreign invasion in the C18th or the myth and story that this was used by the wives of Seafarers, to see when the ship's were close to land, so they knew to take the pay off their husbands in dock, before they squandered it on beer, women and other essentials, then this is worth a look. There's little there other than the tower, which is in a private field. Do please respect the farmer and view it from the fence or roadside. You cannot enter the tower from a safety perspective and also from a private land point of view. Please do not try.
